What we provide

Professional care.
Presentation that holds.

Garden work is easy to let slide because nothing goes wrong in a week — it goes wrong over a season. A regular round keeps the garden sitting where you want it, and each visit is short because it never gets far out.

✓Weeding through beds, borders and paving joints

✓Pruning, shaping and deadheading

✓Cutting back spent and frost-tipped growth

✓Light hedge tidy-ups between full trims

✓Re-edging and redefining bed lines

✓Leaf and litter clearing

✓Blow-down of paths and paved areas

✓Green-waste removal — nothing left in a pile

What the Newcastle climate does to a garden

A mild coast keeps everything growing

Close to frost-free

The coastal strip from Newcastle to Lake Macquarie barely stops growing, so there's no dormant season to catch up in — a bed left through July is still filling with winter grass and oxalis by August.

Summer is the pressure point

Humidity and storm rain from November to March push soft growth on murraya, lilly pilly and viburnum, and break mulch down fast — a spring-mulched bed can be bare soil by autumn.

Autumn leaf drop

The liquidambars and jacarandas around Hamilton, Merewether and The Junction drop heavily, so leaf clearing is part of the round for those properties.

Coastal plantings

Gardens near Bar Beach, Merewether and Stockton carry salt on the wind, which favours tougher plantings — lomandra, westringia, dianella. We keep what's planted healthy rather than fight the position.

Tidy-ups, rentals and end-of-lease

Not every garden needs a standing round

One-off reset

A full weed, cut-back, edge, mulch and clean-up in a single visit to reset a garden that has got away, after which you decide whether to book ongoing care.

Property managers

End-of-lease and between-tenancy garden clean-ups across Newcastle and Lake Macquarie, with completion photos for the file.

Pre-sale gardens

The same reset treatment, ideally a few weeks before photos so fresh mulch and cut-back shrubs have time to settle.

One contractor

The person who quotes the job is the person who does it — no rotating crews.

No surprises

How your quote works

Tell us the address and roughly what you need — a couple of photos help. Guido reviews every quote himself, and takes a look in person where it makes a difference.

The price is worked out on property size, access, condition and scope, then confirmed with you as one fixed figure before any work starts. No hourly meter, no “we’ll sort it out on the day”, and no charge for the quote.

If you go ahead, that’s the price. If you don’t, there’s no obligation and no follow-up pressure.

Every job is quoted upfront based on property size, access, condition and scope, so you know what is included before work begins.

Frequently asked

How often does a Newcastle garden need maintenance?

Most residential gardens sit well on a monthly round, tightening to fortnightly through the spring and summer growth period. Low-planting or courtyard gardens can often go every six to eight weeks. We recommend an interval after seeing the garden.

Do you take the green waste away?

Yes. Prunings, weeds and clippings leave with us on the day. If you keep a compost or green bin and would rather we fill that, we can do that instead.

Can you take on a garden that is badly overgrown?

Yes. An overgrown garden is booked as a one-off reset — weed, cut back, edge, clear and clean — and from there you can move to a regular round or leave it as a one-off.

Do you do mulching and planting as well?

Yes, both are quoted as add-ons to a maintenance visit. Given how fast mulch breaks down in the local humidity, most gardens benefit from a top-up once a year, usually in spring.

Which suburbs do you cover for garden maintenance?

Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland and Port Stephens, including Merewether, Hamilton, New Lambton, Kotara, Adamstown, Mayfield, Broadmeadow, Charlestown, Warners Bay, Cardiff, Belmont and the surrounding areas.

Do I need to be home for a garden visit?

No, as long as there is clear access to the garden and any side gates are unlocked. We confirm access before the first visit.

What's the difference between a garden clean-up and ongoing maintenance?

A clean-up is a one-off visit that brings an overgrown garden back under control. Ongoing maintenance is the regular visit that keeps it there. Most properties benefit from a clean-up first, then a schedule — it's cheaper over time to maintain a garden that's under control than to keep resetting one.

What happens if weather affects the job?

If weather affects safe access or the quality of the finished result, the job may be rescheduled with clear communication.
